Meet Sue De Legge
A native to the Windy City, Chicago, Illinois I lived in the suburb of Northbrook, and owned property in Lake Barrington. In 1990, my family and I decided to make the move to beautiful San Diego. My enthusiasm for its lifestyle, weather, and Mediterranean architecture is what inspired me to take up the real estate profession. I am very passionate about helping people, and working with each client, 1 at a time, to realize their goals in buying or selling their home. My clients become part of my adopted family and I truly treat their money as if it were my own. I’m not a traditional realtor; I am a consultant and partner in your real estate ventures. I am very proactive - knocking on doors, calling around the community in which a client wants to buy or sell, and utilizing my extensive network of contacts that I’ve built over the 17 years of living and working in the San Diego North County area. But I firmly believe it’s not how much you know, it’s how much you care! I invest my time and money for my clients to achieve the best outcome because I love what I do, and it is my personal goal to satisfy each client so much that they feel completely comfortable and confident referring their families and friends to me; And I am proud that most of my clients are referrals and repeat clients! This repeat business attests to the level of trust my clients have in my professional abilities – when they work with me, they know they’ll be taken care of.
Because I have successfully completed hundreds of transactions as well as numerous specialized training courses and certifications, I can honestly say I have the knowledge and proven ability to overcome any obstacle and navigate any situation to the benefit of my clients. Not only am I determined to succeed with each client, I have the tools to do so – such as being able anticipate problems and provide the best solutions in a timely manner. The real estate business is always changing, so I make sure to keep up with the latest technology updates, mandatory legal risk management training, continuing education for the organizations I belong to and meeting the requirements to maintain all my certifications. I know San Diego’s North County extremely well because I’ve lived here with my family for 17 years, and raised my two beautiful children here. When I represent buyers, I know where the best buys and best areas of investment are. I am fully versed in community amenities, school districts, rates of appreciation – all of which are crucial to know when choosing a home. When I represent sellers, I assume all the risk up front and I spend a great deal of time and energy promoting and selling my listings to the local community, realtors and to buyers internationally via the Internet. I use my own marketing dollars and considerable expertise to promote your home, create excitement in potential buyers, and articulate your home’s worth. I provide extra services, such as having your home professionally photographed and consulting with a home stager, if needed. In order to provide you with the same level of attention and service I would expect, I have a team of licensed, experienced professionals working with me to attend to the detailed aspects of your transaction which contributes greatly to your move and the successful close of escrow.

Selling Your Home >Showtime
Does your home have more than its share of dust bunnies? Do you have a "noticeable" kitty litter box and closets whose contents tumble toward your feet when opened? If you are planning to sell your home, please don't be offended by your real estate agent's suggestions about what you should do to prepare your home for the market.
One of the major challenges that sellers face is keeping their home in top showing condition while it is on the market. Many sellers have difficulty incorporating this necessity into their already busy lives. In such situations we strongly recommend that you get professional help.
If you already have a cleaning person, you may want to increase the cleaning frequency. Remember that not all buyers want to use their imagination to visualize a well-kept home. They usually react emotionally to exactly what they see, rather than to the possibilities that your home represents. If your home looks like it will require a lot of work, buyers may elect to keep looking.
For most sellers, the goal is to get the home sold as quickly as possible, and for the best price. Hiring a professional cleaner can pay high dividends.
